| 1. An ink composition for marking glass and ceramic surfaces, and for burning in said surfaces at an elevated temperature,
the ink composition comprising the following components:
35-55% by weight pigment,
15-30% by weight lead-free frit,
20-45% by weight vehicle material, wherein the vehicle material is one of glycerin or a mixture of glycerin and water,
and the components constituting a total 100% by weight.
