| 1. A method of presenting computer-generated characters, the method comprising:
for a first character and a second character, receiving a selection of a multi-frame font, said multi-frame font providing
(i) a first plurality of frames for the first character and (ii) a second plurality of frames for the second character, each
frame providing a particular representation of a character, wherein at least two frames for a particular character provide
a different representation of the particular character;
starting a display of the first plurality of frames for the first character; and
after a time delay from the start of the display of the first plurality of frames for the first character, starting a display
of the second plurality of frames for the second character.
