| 1. A system for writing information comprising:
a writing section which writes information onto a rewritable recording medium, and which obtains a medium identification (ID)
identifying the recording medium; and
a server which stores index information correlating the medium ID with the information that is written onto the recording
medium by said writing section,
wherein the recording medium is a displaying medium which displays an image according to the information in the index information,
and the image once written on the displaying medium continues to be displayed without a supply of power.
