1. A wireless device comprising:
a processor;
a memory, coupled to the processor, to store instructions for generating a short-range radio signal, processing user information, and providing a plurality of services; and
an antenna, coupled to the processor, to generate the short-range radio signal responsive to the instructions and the processor,
wherein the wireless device is configured to communicate with a wireless gateway device over a short-range wireless network, and
wherein the wireless gateway device is configured to:
route information received by the wireless gateway device over a wide area network to the wireless device over the short-range wireless network using a public Internet Protocol (IP) address;
route information received by the wireless gateway device over the short-range wireless network from the wireless device to one or more destinations over the wide area network using the public IP address;
route information received by the wireless gateway device over the short-range wireless network from the wireless device to one or more destinations over the wide area network using the public IP address;
route information received by the wireless gateway device over the short-range wireless network from the wireless device to one or more other devices over the short-range wireless network using the private IP address;
provide the wireless device with the ability to share one or more services with the other devices;
provide the wireless device with the ability to add to, update, or otherwise manage the shared services; and
provide the wireless device with a security management mechanism.
