1. A wideband input attenuation circuit for an active voltage measurement probe receiving an input signal from a device under test comprising:
a compensated RC attenuator having a first resistive element coupled in parallel with a first capacitive element that are coupled in series with a second resistive element coupled in parallel with a second capacitive element;
a Z0 attenuator having a first resistive element coupled in series with a second resistive element, the first resistive element of the Z0 attenuator being coupled to the first resistive element coupled in parallel with the first capacitive element of the compensated RC attenuator and the second resistive element of the Z0 attenuator being coupled to the second resistive element coupled in parallel with the second capacitive element of the compensated RC attenuator;
a transmission line coupling the first resistive element coupled in parallel with the first capacitive element of the compensated RC attenuator to the second resistive element of the Z0 attenuator; and
a buffer amplifier coupled to the junction of the transmission line with the second resistive element of the Z0 attenuator.
