| 1. An image processing method of creating a lookup table having a plurality of grids and performing a color conversion processing
in accordance with characteristics of an output device, the image processing method comprising the steps of:
setting the grids constituting the lookup table;
selecting a target grid from the set grids;
selecting a grid having a small difference from the target grid from among grids whose output values are calculated;
setting an output value of the selected grid as an initial value;
estimating an output value of the target grid by using the set initial value; and
storing the estimated output value as an output value of the target grid,
wherein the estimation is repeated in accordance with an estimation based on a difference between a result of the estimation
and the target grid.
