LACK OF RESPONSE TO January 2012 SURVEY BY REGISTERED PRACTITIONERS IN PATENT CASES
Pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 10.11, the Office of Enrollment and Discipline (OED) conducted a survey of the active registered practitioners whose registrations numbers are below 25,000. The purpose of the survey, begun on January 31, 2012, was to ascertain whether these practitioners wish to remain on the register. OED received numerous responses. Most practitioners responding to the survey provided information that enabled OED to confirm and update records regarding the responding practitioner’s address and telephone number. Other practitioners requested removal of their names from the register of attorneys and agents.
As of April 4, 2012, OED did not receive any response or communication from over 1200 practitioners. For further information, click here (06APR2012)
